Rating: B4
As R.A.H. got on in years, his writing got worse. This book is the culmination of that trend. It starts out with some very intriguing ideas. But then it drops them, and changes directions. And then it does it again. The story doesn't go anywhere, it just gets weird.
The book reads as if R.A.H. couldn't come up with an ending, so he tacked on another hundred unrelated pages. And then he still couldn't come up with an ending, so he tacked on still more stuff.
